Commitment to High Quality Materials

High-quality and delicious products start with great ingredients. At Santo Amaro, we are committed to using fresh, domestically sourced meat to create juicy and tasty sausages. For all our main products, including fresh sausages and smoked sausages, we use 100% domestic pork leg meat to ensure that our customers can confidently choose high-quality products. We do not use frozen ingredients, and we have built a system that allows us to source fresh domestic meat at any time from contracted meat wholesalers.
Furthermore, to protect the quality of our products, we do not use MSM (mechanically separated meat), which is commonly used in processed products like sausages to increase yield. This is one of the ways we maintain the integrity of our products.

Commitment to Flavor

Santo Amaro products are seasoned with simple Brazilian-style salt, garlic, and pepper, which perfectly complement the rich, savory taste of the meat. These flavors are not only loved by foreign customers but also suit the tastes of Japanese consumers. What sets Santo Amaro products apart from others is undoubtedly the seasoning. Our sausages are made with minimal sugar, and the bold, well-balanced saltiness enhances the natural flavor of the meat, offering a true, unmatched taste that you won’t find in other brands.

Commitment to Manufacturing Method

The production of our hams and sausages follows traditional European methods, refined by skilled artisans in Brazil. SantoAmaro’s seasoning aims to enhance the natural qualities of the ingredients, bringing out the full flavor without artificially adding water or altering the raw materials. A standout feature of Santo Amaro bacon is that it does not undergo the water injection process commonly found in many mass-produced products. This preserves the meat’s texture and results in a product with a stronger, more concentrated flavor. Our smoking process uses natural cherry wood instead of artificial essences, imparting a distinctive aroma and preserving both the flavor and the shine, while also enhancing the product’s shelf life.

Since its founding in 1997, Santo Amaro has been committed to delivering safe, high-quality products to customers. We have continuously worked to improve hygiene management and, since 2017, have obtained the SQF (Safe Quality Food) certification for food safety. SQF is an internationally recognized food safety management system certification, and we undergo annual audits by an independent third-party organization to maintain and renew our certification.
SQF certification is based on HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) and includes audits covering everything from the sourcing, handling, and production processes of packaging materials and raw materials, to storage management, and the shipment and delivery to customers.
This system, along with strict hygiene maintenance, ensures that our products are produced using modern, safe methods, providing our customers with guaranteed quality and safety.
